Collection and Drop Off during COVID 19

Government guidelines have recommended that schools operate staggered days to reduce congestion, whilst entering and leaving the school. It is very important that children are dropped off and picked up at their allocated time promptly.  Please see the table below for timings and entrance/exit points. Teachers and support staff will be on the playground, near entrances/exit points in the morning and end of the day, for collection at the appropriate gate.

If you have children in more than one year group, you can drop them off at ONE time- whatever is the earliest time for your children (see table below). So there will be NO SIBLINGS drop off @ 8:30am, unless you have a Nursery aged child in your family.

It is essential that everyone follows the guidelines:

• All pupils should be dropped off and collected from school by ONE adult.
• Year 5/6 pupils will be allowed home alone, if a signed letter has been completed.
• Drop off and pick up must be at the time detailed below.
• Please do not arrive at your gate before your given times.
• Do not crowd or wait around our gates or block the road, for health and safety reasons.
• Wear a mask and physically distance, using the markings on the pavement.
• Once you have dropped off/collected, we politely ask you leave the area.
• Use the zebra crossing, to ensure you safely cross the road with your child.
• Avoid dangerous parking: Do not park on yellow lines or zig zags or block driveways.
• Walk, cycle/scoot, or use public transport if wearing a mask, as we need to limit the traffic around school.
• If you need to speak to the class teacher, please make an appointment via CLASS DOJO, for a phone consultation, as we are unable to have face to face meetings.
