We are delighted and proud to confirm that these excellent KS2 SATs are the HIGHEST and BEST Results we have ever achieved. Most pupils met the expected standard for their age in Reading, Writing and Maths, improving from 74% last year to 81% this year; a whopping 22% above how pupils have performed nationally for the past 2 years (59%). Most Year 6 pupils leave Dormers Wells Primary working at or above the expected standard for their age in individual subjects. Many pupils have also achieved at the higher standard. We are also proud of the fact that a third of our pupils achieved the higher standard (greater depth) in Maths. These fantastic results are a testament to the sheer hard work and resilience of our children, their families and teaching staff, especially given how they were affected by the pandemic, during their Y3 and Y4 school years.
