All homework will be set and handed in online, following the timetable below. The only exception to this is reading records and reading books which should still be brought to school every day.

Children in year 5 are expected to read for 20 minutes every night and record tasks in their reading records. Help children to focus on ensuring they work on handwriting and letter/number formation. Children have access to reading Eggs.

Maths will be set every Thursday on Mathletics. Additional work might be set on teams.

Children to use Times Rockstars app to learn their tables

Weekly spelling lessons will test children on the previous week’s spellings this is linked to Spelling shed.

Occasionally, children might be asked to research for a topic/theme or complete a project.
