To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils, parents, and staff, please adhere to the following guidelines:
> Only pupils in Years 5 and 6 may travel to and from school independently. Written parental consent must be provided for any child permitted to do so.
> Children should be dropped off and collected only at the designated times outlined below.
> Please do not arrive at school before your allocated drop-off or collection time.
> For health and safety reasons, please avoid gathering around school gates or obstructing roads and pathways.
> Once your child has been dropped off or collected, we kindly ask that you leave the school vicinity promptly.
> Please use the zebra crossing when crossing the road with your child.
> To ensure the safety of all road users, please do not park on yellow lines, zigzags, or across residential driveways.
> Where possible, we encourage families to walk, cycle, scoot, or use public transport, as roads surrounding the school can become particularly congested at the beginning and end of the school day.
> If you wish to speak with your child’s class teacher, please arrange an appointment via ClassDojo or speak to them at the end of the school day.
School gates open at 8:40am and close at 8:50am.
Nursery and Reception pupils enter through Gate 8 and should be accompanied by their parent or carer to the classroom.
Year 1 and Year 2 pupils should be dropped off at Gate 4, where they will be greeted by members of staff.
Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 pupils enter through Gate 8 and will be welcomed by members of staff.
Registers close at 9:00am. Any child arriving after this time must report to the school office and will be recorded as late.
Upon arrival, all pupils have access to a free breakfast consisting of a sandwich and a piece of fruit. Children under the age of five are also entitled to free milk each day.
School gates open at 3:10pm.
Parents and carers collecting children in Reception and Years 1, 2, 3 and 4 should do so from their child’s classroom door.
Pupils in Years 5 and 6 should be collected from the top of the field near Gate 8.
School gates close at 3:25pm. Any child who has not been collected by this time will be taken to the Late Collection Room. Parents and carers will then be required to collect their child from the school office and sign them out.

All pupils are entitled to a free hot school meal each day. A range of options is available, including vegetarian, Halal and non-Halal choices. We strongly encourage all children to take advantage of this provision, particularly during the colder months.
